06/05/2017 - UPDATE -
Greetings fellow dog lover! My name is Beech, and I have been with my foster family for about a month. I live everyday with gratitude and love! I am a sweet, affectionate little girl who loves to be with my family and the other dog that lives here. I sleep on my dog bed or on a blanket on the floor. I do not get up on the furniture. I have barked just twice since I got here! Both times were on walks when I saw a dog I did not know. I am very quiet - almost all the time. I am eight years young and still love long walks and playing with a ball. Sometimes my foster families tell me they just can't believe how simply loving and sweet I am given that I have had some rough times in my life. They give me a pill everyday for what they have told me is Cushings Disease. But as long as I get that little pill I am good to go! I try to be modest, but everyone tells me my pictures don't do me justice. You have to meet me in person and then I promise, you will fall in love.

Hi Everyone! My name is Beech, and I just arrived at the CSAC from a shelter. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. The vet at the shelter thinks there is something wrong with my tummy but they could not find the issue so the CSAC vet is checking me out and making sure I am healthy. I am hoping everything is ok so I can find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished pet.

Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link.

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. If you can help, please donate.
