06/15/2017 - UPDATE -
Hello. I am here in my wonderful foster home being a happy pup. When I came to CSAC I had a skin condition because my family did not take good care of me. They left me at a shelter. So, there I was, sad and without a family. Then one day CSAC came, and life has never been better. I was treated for my skin condition and am getting great food to eat that is really good for me. am one happy gal in my foster home.

I have the best foster parents. They want you to know that I am a frisky and happy little girl. I LOVE to be picked up and held. Other pups live in my house, and I get along with them just fine. If I am challenged by one of the pups, I stand my ground. I must say I am enjoying the nice weather so I can hang out on the deck and soak in the sun. Boy, does that feel super. At bedtime, I sleep in Mom and Dad's room. I sleep on the bed with them if there is enough room! Sometimes we have quite the crowd. I am flexible, though. I just love the fact that my parents want me close to them. I also need to say that I am doing a good job on learning to be housetrained. I am trying hard to be the best girl.

What a long way I have come since I was left alone and scared at a shelter. I am happy, healthy, and loved. The last thing I want is my own family who I will love forever. I cannot wait for that day to come. I promise that I will love you and you will love me. What a fabulous time we will have together. Hugs and kisses - Sasha

Hi Everyone! My name is Sasha, and I just arrived at the CSAC from a shelter. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. No one properly care for me so right now, I do have a skin condition. I hope the right home will give me the proper diet, medication and love to help me feel better. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished pet.

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. If you can help, please donate.
