FOSTER HOME NEEDED!

MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION:
Hello, my name is Paige, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter along with my sisters Paris and Hanna. People are calling me a hero. I escaped my owner and ran to a neighbor's house. The neighbor kindly took me to a shelter. My owner tried to claim me, but the authorities had a different idea. They kept me and rescued my sisters! I have spent my whole life outside in a home made kennel in lots of muck. I was covered in feces, I have patches of missing fur, and I am blind. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are trying to make me as healthy as possible. Everyone says I am very loving and affectionate. I even roll over for belly rubs. The back yard breeder who owned me taught me nothing. I need to learn how to be a dog. I need a loving home where I can be house trained, taught how to do doggie things like walk on a leash, and get all of the love and attention I deserve. Hopefully, I will find that new family who will turn me into a happy, cherished pet and accept me even with my special needs. Can you help?

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. If you can help, please donate.
