Hey everyone, it’s me, Sasha! I have a lot to tell you about me and what I’ve been up to lately. First off, I found myself a foster home right before Christmas! I really like being in a home. I get lots of attention from my foster parents. They have very soft beds for me to sleep on and some toys to play with. I’m not really a toy player, but more like a toy carrier. I like to take them into other rooms. We go on walks around the neighborhood every day too. I have met some dogs along the way, and I do not react to them. I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I want to be the queen of my castle! I walk very well on a leash, and ride well in the car with my new car harness for safety. I am mostly calm and easy going (I am a senior after all). The exception is when it is dinner time - I get very excited and run around the room! Foster mom thinks this is great and calls me a spunky senior. I let my foster mom take care of my needs without any hassle. I’m good for ear cleaning, teeth brushing, grooming and bathing. But what I love the most is to follow my people around. I never want to be too far from them. I attach easily to the ones I love. So, if you are looking for a sweet senior girl to dote on, consider me please!

Hello everyone. I have been groomed and my medical worries have been resolved. The great news is that the biopsy for my tumors came back saying they were benign! With all the great TLC I received at the vets, I am ready for my new home. I am fine with cats but not too fond of other dogs, and I do not like sharing food or treats. I know there is someone out there ready to give me a loving new home. Can you help?

Hi, my name is Sasha, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. I have a few medical conditions that need help. After I was groomed, a tumor was found on under my tail. It was removed and is being biopsied. Right now I am a little scared but I am calm and friendly. Hopefully, they can help, but I need an adopter who will continue to help me face this issue. I want to be a happy, cherished pet. Can anyone help me and give me a new home?

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen.
